I am a free lance makeup artist in the greater Houston area. I offer airbrushing and traditional makeup application "for all of life's special events": weddings, proms, coming of age celebrations, galas, portraits, etc.
My introduction to the cosmetic industry began while I was in college and battling severe cystic acne. After medications and doctors failed to get rid of the acne, I discovered the benefits of skin care, and I began teaching others how to relieve various skin conditions with skin care products. Of course, women always wanted to learn more about makeup and my career evolved.
I am celebrating 10 years as a freelance makeup artist in Houston. In that time, I have been recognized by the Knot and Wedding Wire, but my greatest honor is to be named as one of Houston's Top Makeup Artists in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022!
Time teaches you new things every day and I understand the challenges of extremely dry skin and the adjustments women need to make to soften their appearance as they age gracefully. I am passionate about helping women ages 50+ to learn new makeup techniques to help them feel confidant.
In addition to helping the outside appearance, I have had the opportunity to get to know people on the “inside” by serving as a corporate chaplain for over 7 years. I believe my corporate background allows me to relate to business professionals and clients in a way many other makeup artists can’t. My listening skills allow me to create makeup looks clients can use every day.
In 2017, I added flight attendant to my resume, so I am either flying out the door to my office at 30k feet or I am flying out the door to meet a lovely new makeup client - hence the hashtag #TheFlyingMUA.
I love helping women find new ways to enhance their beautiful God-given features and I love to see how their faces light up when they look in the mirror after I've applied their makeup!
It is my honor to serve.
How can I help you makeup?
